Friends today we shall know, when to give medicine Ambra Grisea to a patient (Dose is suggested at the end), दवा की मात्रा और पोटेंसी अंत में बताई गई है

Ambra Grisea is a very quick-acting remedy, it is  a disease-product derived from the whale. 

Like all substances having a strong odor, it acts predominantly upon the nervous system. 

Ambra causes spasmodic symptoms here and there over the body. 

The muscles of the face twitch.

Sleeplessness, after retiring, but sleepy before.  

Sleeplessness arising from worriment of mind, as from business troubles. 

Patient may retire to bed feeling tolerably tired, but as soon as his head touches the pillow he becomes wakeful. 

Ambra Grisea is particularly useful in thin, spare men, of nervous temperament, in whom nervousness predominates at the expense of nutrition. 

Nervous complaints of old people, who are forgetful and cannot remember the simplest facts. 

Vertigo comes on when the patient moves about, and the legs are unsteady; he totters when he walks. 

He has numbness of the feet and tingling in his limbs. The limbs go to sleep readily. 

Nervous diseases when there is defective reaction from nervous weakness. 

In Psorinum the defective reaction arises from constitutional taint. 

Perspiration, in the presence of strangers. (Ambr., Bar-c., lyc., sep., stram.)

Cough which is worse when strangers are in the room, or under any other circumstances which would tend to excite the nervous system. 

Reflex cough from mental influences (Here it is similar to Phosphorus).

Child coughs at sight of strangers (Ambr., ars., bar-c., phos.).

Cough, which may be whooping or not, when it is followed by eructations of wind from the stomach (other remedies are Sulphuric acid, Arnica, Sanguinaria and Veratrum album). 

Sometimes the eructations come during the cough ( here other remedies are Arsenicum, Cimex, Lachesis, Angustura). 

Asthma accompanied by cardiac symptoms, oppression of breathing, and a feeling as of a load or lump in the left chest and fluttering in the region of the heart,  a constrictive feeling there, not as if a hand were grasping the heart, but as if something in the left side of the chest were squeezed up in a lump, accompanied by palpitation of the heart. 

Stiffness of back after sitting and when rising from a seat.

Intolerable itching of the female genitalia.

Atony of the uterus. The menses are regular or come a few days too early, are very profuse, accompanied by nosebleed and an increase in the varicose veins on the legs. 

A discharge of blood between the periods. 

Any little excitement or extra effort, such as straining at stool, brings on a vaginal discharge of blood, indicating engorgement of the uterus and relaxed, weak tissues. 

Leucorrhea consists of mucus of a bluish or bluish-gray tinge to it. 

During the lying-in period, Ambra  has severe constipation. Thin and scrawny-looking nervous women , who have frequent ineffectual urges to stool accompanied by great anxiety and restlessness, and inability to pass stool while the nurse or any one else is in the room.

Dose: Ambra Grisea 6, 12, and 30 potency (1 to 5 drops in 10 ml water on empty stomach or as advised by your doctor).
